Job summary

Vylor Inc. seeks a skilled maintenance electrician to operate and service plant equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems. You will troubleshoot, inspect, and ensure safety and quality compliance daily.

On-site at the Corteva location in St. Joseph, IL, the role offers a sign-on bonus and a competitive salary with potential for overtime during seasonal peaks.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician experience required.
• Ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicle.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Detail oriented with good problem solving.
• Willing to maintain detailed equipment records.
• Commitment to health and safety and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and controls.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections.
• Review and assist with electrical safety program adherence.
• Adhere to quality systems, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva safety procedures.
• Recommend safety improvements and new devices or hardware as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
