Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Hopkins, SC, seeks an Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical components of plant equipment and facilities. This 100% onsite role reports to the E&I Team Manager at the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility.

Candidates should have industrial electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year in maintenance or as an industrial electrician.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience required.
• Minimum 1 year maintenance/industrial electrician experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and controls.
• Install and repair switches, boxes, wiring, and motor controllers.
• Maintain electrical distribution systems and read schematics.
• Follow safety, accountability and hygiene procedures.
