Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking an Industrial Electrician to support the safe, reliable operation of our mining and processing site. The role involves working across electrical systems, collaborating with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams, and applying proactive troubleshooting for continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have strong industrial electrical experience; Journeyman license is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; 4+ years electrical experience in industrial/mining/processing environment.
Journeyman Electrician license preferred or willingness to obtain.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, prints, and diagrams.
Strong safety judgment and ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install industrial electrical systems and components.
Diagnose electrical/control issues using schematics, test equipment, PLC diagnostics, and troubleshooting methods.
Support PLCs, control wiring, instrumentation, motors, and remote equipment operation.
Work with 3-phase 480V systems, and exposure to 4,160V and 13.8kV systems and power distribution.
Install conduit, pull wire, terminate components, and support new construction and site projects.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, lighting, building systems, HVAC components, communications, and site infrastructure.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to identify root causes and ensure reliable operations.
Adhere to NEC, MSHA, and company safety standards and PPE requirements.
