A leading lumber manufacturing company in Louisiana is seeking a Certified Electrician responsible for executing maintenance programs and managing electrical projects to ensure the smooth operation of all electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, proficiency in electrical systems, and a Certified Electrician qualification. This role requires effective communication and independent work in a demanding environment, ensuring safety and efficiency. Experience in industrial settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician required with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in industrial environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general electrical maintenance across mill operations.
• Install and repair electrical systems on all mill equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Skills

Troubleshooting and problem-solving

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work independently

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience with CMMS systems

Working knowledge of electrical systems

Welding and cutting experience

Education
