Job summary

3M is seeking an Electrician in Minnesota to join a global team of 3Mers. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing electrical power distribution systems within production, lab, office and utility spaces.

Ideal candidates will hold a Minnesota journeyman or master electrician license, have a valid driver’s license, and at least three years of industrial maintenance experience with motors and control wiring. A company vehicle may be included.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a Minnesota journeyman or master electrician license.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Three years of industrial maintenance experience in electrical systems and motors.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust electrical power distribution systems and equipment.
• Stay current with National Electrical Code and local codes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, blueprints and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and service AC/DC motors and drive components; perform standard adjustments.
• Complete required shop paperwork and reporting using established forms.
