Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of electrical apprenticeship or technical training.
• 3–5 years experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in manufacturing.
• Valid electrician license with industrial/commercial certifications; Journeyman preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and wiring for manufacturing machinery and infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on production lines and plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and safety standards in all tasks.
• Calibrate and test electrical systems, sensors, and instruments used in production processes.
• Repair or replace faulty components and propose upgrades for performance and energy efficiency.
• Document maintenance and repairs; support engineering and maintenance teams.
• Provide emergency response to electrical failures and mentor junior technicians.
