Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Electrician for our Mount Pleasant, Iowa facility. The role focuses on installation, repair, and modification of electrical systems to support safe and efficient plant operations.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of related maintenance experience. Candidates should be familiar with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA standards and be able to work with PLCs, VFDs, and MCCs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years maintenance/mechanic experience required.
• Experience with electrical systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety protocols around hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnoses and resolves electrical system issues using standard methods.
• Performs preventive maintenance and regular inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Maintains and interprets electrical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
