Job summary

International Paper in Lexington, SC is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to maintain production equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and ensure machine uptime in a fast-paced corrugated production environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least five years of maintenance experience; candidates with a technical degree or apprenticeship are preferred. Work shifts are 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of maintenance experience.
• Technical degree or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Experience with corrugated/manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment to optimize uptime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs as needed.
• Dismantle devices to access faulty parts and install replacements as required.
• Test machines after repairs and verify performance against specs.
• Operate metalworking tools to fabricate/repair parts as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
