Job summary
PPG Industries, Inc. is hiring a Electrician/Maintenance on 2nd shift in Alexander, AR. You will inspect, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical systems to keep production running smoothly.
The role requires 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience; Journeyman certification is a plus. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, read schematics, and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as industrial electrical maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Journeyman Electrical Certification a plus, not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues and repair.
- Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Schedule maintenance with production teams to minimize disruption.
- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment status.
- Ensure safety compliance and PPE/lock-out/tag-out.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Support continuous improvement to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Operate forklift, scissor lift, and SkyTrac safely.
