Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking an experienced maintenance electrician to perform electrical tasks in a food-processing environment. The role includes running conduit, pulling wire, wiring motors, and troubleshooting PLCs, with strict adherence to safety and QA guidelines.

You will inspect equipment, ensure proper operation, maintain housekeeping, and document maintenance activities accurately. Overtime and 12-hour shifts during harvest may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year electrical or industrial automation experience.
• Basic math skills (+, -, *, /).
• Fluent English reading, speaking, and writing.
• Ability to climb up to 200 ft.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push and pull throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods.
• Leadership abilities: delegation, conflict management, problem solving, confidentiality.
• Ability to run service crew and supervise contractors.
• Collaborate with project engineers and plant managers.
• Willingness to wear PPE.
• Follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Conducts electrical work in an industrial setting (running conduit, pulling wire, wiring motors, troubleshooting PLCs).
• Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning and housekeeping is adequately maintained.
• Monitors and documents maintenance procedures per food safety and QA guidelines.
