Job summary

stellantisexternalcx is looking for an Electrician to handle preventative maintenance, layout, installation, and repair of electrical systems across the facility. You will work on motors, generators, transformers, and control equipment, applying electrical theory to test and modify machinery.

The role requires completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent, plus years of electrical experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years in an electrican path or equivalent apprenticeship/Craft.
• Able to work shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Experience as Electrician in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, layouts or specs.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults and maintaining manufacturing operations.
• Documentation of apprenticeship or related training and manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, installation and repair of electrical equipment and power and lighting systems.
• Work with motors, generators, transformers, controls and related components.
• Test, modify and troubleshoot electrical machinery and circuits.
• Assemble and test motor-controlled devices, switch panels, transformers and windings.
• Diagnose causes of electrical malfunctions and perform incidental tasks as needed.
