Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking an Electrician to perform preventative maintenance, layout, installation, and repair of electrical systems in a manufacturing facility. The role involves testing and modifying electrical machinery, assembling motor-controlled devices, and diagnosing faults to minimize downtime.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years of relevant experience or an apprenticeship certificate, and be able to work all shifts, including overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 years of combined experience and training similar to an Electrician apprenticeship.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime, including daily weekends and holidays.
• Experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, layouts or specifications.
• Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations and troubleshooting.
• Ability to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and parts replacement.
• Documentation verifying a DOL Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, layout, installation, and repair of electrical equipment and power/lighting systems.
• Test and modify electrical machinery and control equipment; assemble and test motor-controlled devices and switch panels.
• Diagnose causes of electrical malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance.
• Work incidental tasks as required to complete larger tasks.
