Qualified candidates typically hold an Associate’s degree in an electrical field with 2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. The role emphasizes safety policies, equipment testing and collaboration with maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in an electrical field and 2 years related electrical experience or training
• Driver’s License
• Clean driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals and procedures
• Knowledge of database software, internet software, and order processing systems
• Technical electrical skills and learning agility
• Ability to fit test and use PPE as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting)

Responsibilities

• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment
• Connects power supply wires and cables between machines and equipment
• Diagnoses malfunctioning transformers, motors, and electronic components
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses faults with maintenance staff
• Replaces faulty electrical components such as relays, switches and motors
• Plans wiring layouts and installs wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus
• Drives between locations to complete responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned
