Job summary

Elementis is seeking an Electrician to support production operations with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. You will maintain and repair electrical equipment, interpret P&ID diagrams, and troubleshoot control systems under supervision of the Site Maintenance Leader.

The role requires knowledge of electrical components and safety codes, with duties performed per company policies and procedures. Includes training and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Certification from an accredited program in electrical, instrumentation & controls maintenance.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in chemical processing with electrical, instrumentation & control skills.
• IT Skills: Basic troubleshooting and programming of Allen Bradley; DeltaV experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and installations on plant instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and support control systems including pumps, motors, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Train new Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians and maintain a safe work area.
• Complete tasks such as staging materials, installing conduit, drilling, and supporting equipment.
