Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Port Arthur, Texas, seeks an Electrical Craftsman 2 to plan, lay-out, install, test and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, motors, equipment and control systems in accordance with plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.

You will interpret drawings, measure, install conduit, wire lighting and power equipment, work with high and low voltage systems, and troubleshoot while maintaining safety on a construction/industrial site.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Craftsman 2 in a Power Plant/Industrial setting.
• Ability to interpret drawings and follow instructions.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Plan and install wiring, fixtures, motors, and control systems according to plans and codes.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Work with high/low voltage systems and ensure safety and reliability.
