Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an intermediate-level electrical installer to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring and control systems in accordance with plans and codes.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, installing conduits and terminations, testing systems and ensuring safety while working with high/low voltage equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and lift heavy tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess working knowledge/skills for the position.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, sketches, software and plans to determine tools and procedures.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread and install wiring, conduit, and terminations.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place.
• Test systems and ensure circuit continuity and safety.
• Observe equipment to identify hazards and need for adjustments or replacement.
• Pull wires, connect wiring to fixtures and equipment.
• Work with high and low voltage systems.
• Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment.
• Operate hand, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical tools.
