Job summary

Atkore International seeks a Maintenance Electrician II for our Hobart, IN plant. Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of plant electrical equipment, with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role requires 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience, proficiency with PLCs and VFDs, and ability to read schematics. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with a $1.00/hr differential on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Industrial electronics, motors, schematics, and power systems (AC/DC).
• Troubleshoot and repair standalone electrical systems with minimal guidance.
• Basic PLC and VFD programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Conduit bending and installation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including tubing mills, forklifts, cranes, and packaging machinery.
• Install electrical circuits following blueprints and diagrams.
• Align, adjust, and calibrate electronic equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, 5S-compliant workplace.
