Job summary

Atkore International in Hobart, IN seeks a Maintenance Electrician II on 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) with a pay rate of $35.50/hr. You will install, maintain, and repair plant electronic equipment, troubleshoot diverse machinery, and support PM tasks while operating in a hot, dusty, and noisy environment.

Minimum 3–5 years in electrical maintenance, strong knowledge of industrial electronics, motors, schematics, and power systems (AC/DC) is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience.
• Experience in industrial electronics, motors, schematics, power systems (AC/DC).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic standalone systems.
• Experience with PLCs and VFDs and conduit installation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace following 5S standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair tubing mills, cutting lines, forklifts, cranes, and packaging equipment.
• Align, adjust, and calibrate electronic equipment.
• Install electrical circuits following blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Be involved in PM tasks and support operations as needed.
