Job summary

John Deere GmbH & Co. KG in Dubuque, IA seeks an Industrial Electrician to work from wiring diagrams, prints, and verbal instructions, planning tasks and selecting materials for each job.

You will establish distribution centers, balance loads, and wire complex circuits, install motors and control panels, and support teammates with minimal supervision. Some overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Electrical journeyperson’s card or at least 4 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of national and local electrical safety codes.
• Ability to work shifts and overtime as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and prints.

Responsibilities

• Work from wiring diagrams and schematics for power, control, and measurement.
• Plan work sequence and select materials and tools needed for tasks.
• Establish primary and secondary distribution centers, balance loads, and wire complex circuits.
• Locate and correct electrical issues including high voltage work.
• Install and maintain motors, generators, lights, panels, transformers, and control systems.
• Assist and support other team members with minimal supervision.
• Maintain clean work area and perform related duties.
