John Deere Cylinder Works in Moline, IL is seeking an Electrical Machine Maintenance employee to lay out, install, modify, and maintain complex electrical circuits and equipment. You will diagnose electrical issues with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

The role requires ability to work various shifts, pass safety standards, and adapt to overtime. Starting pay is $40.10 per hour, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities within Deere.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED, NCRC, or 3 years manufacturing work experience.
• Electrical journeyperson’s card or 8+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience / applicable training).
• Thorough knowledge of national and local electrical safety codes.
• Ability to perform manual tasks for duration of shift (standing, walking, bending, lifting).
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime (including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Layout, install, modify, and maintain complex electrical circuits and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose and remedy electrical problems with safety and quality focus.
• Plan work sequence and select materials and tools.
• Establish distribution centers and balance loads.
• Locate and correct electrical issues on high voltage circuits.
• Install/maintain motors, generators, lights, transformers, switches, panels.
• Support team members and work with minimal supervision.
• Keep work area clean and perform other duties.
