Job summary

John Deere Waterloo Works seeks an Electrical Machine Maintenance professional to install, modify, and maintain complex electrical circuits and equipment. You will diagnose electrical issues, work from wiring diagrams, and focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC/CNC systems, motors, and transformers, while supporting fellow technicians. Overtime may be required based on seniority and production needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• NCRC certification preferred.
• Electrical journeyperson card or related degree required.
• Post-secondary cert in electronics/electrical engineering a plus.
• State electrician license or relevant maintenance experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Layout, install, modify, and maintain electrical circuits and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues with safety and quality focus.
• Read wiring diagrams, prints, and verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot PLC, CNC, drives, and robotics.
• Support team with minimal supervision; maintain clean work area.
