Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co is seeking an Industrial Electrician to perform essential electrical installs for industrial packaging and to handle backup power responsibilities.

You will wire AC and DC lighting, switches, GFCI receptacles, and load centers, as well as bend conduits and size wires while interpreting NEC codes and shop drawings. The role requires prior electrical experience in commercial or residential settings, a sense of urgency, teamwork, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman in commercial or residential settings.
• Ability to read a tape measure and compute basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging.
• Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center.
• Bending and sizing conduit, sizing of wire.
• Interpret current NEC codes.
• Interpret shop drawings.
• Participate in required safety program and work safely.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
