Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking an Industrial Electrician to perform electrical installs for industrial packaging and backup power on-site in Griffin, Georgia. The role emphasizes reliable service, accuracy, and safety.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as an electrician in commercial or residential settings, reads tapes, and can interpret shop drawings. State certification is preferred and a two-year degree is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience as electrician apprentice or journeyman in commercial or residential electrical work.
• Ability to read a tape measure and compute basic math.
• Specific industry experience or an equivalent college degree preferred.
• State certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis.
• Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center.
• Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire; interpret shop drawings.
• Participate in required safety program and any additional duties as assigned by manager.
