Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co is seeking an Industrial Electrician to perform essential electrical installs for industrial packaging and to handle backup power responsibilities.

You will wire AC and DC lighting, switches, GFCI receptacles, and load centers, as well as bend conduits and size wires while interpreting NEC codes and shop drawings. The role requires prior electrical experience in commercial or residential settings, a sense of urgency, teamwork, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

3 years minimum experience as an electrician apprentice or journeyman in commercial or residential settings.
Ability to read a tape measure and compute basic math.

Responsibilities

Perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging.
Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center.
Bending and sizing conduit, sizing of wire.
Interpret current NEC codes.
Interpret shop drawings.
Participate in required safety program and work safely.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Industrial Electrician you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.

Primary Responsibilities

Working knowledge of basic electrical installation
Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center
Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire
Interpret current NEC codes
Interpret shop drawings

Additional Responsibilities

Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For

To be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an electrician in either the commercial or residential field. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience

Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree
State certification is preferred

Required Qualifications/Skills
