Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Sonora, CA is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in our manufacturing facilities. You will be part of a team that keeps production running safely and efficiently.

You will read blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications, and work with MCCs, three-phase power, wiring, and sensors. Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting are essential to keep our systems up and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and electrical specifications.
• Understand MCCs, three-phase power, running conduit, lighting systems.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their programming.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facility.
• Maintain components to control machinery, including switches, sensors, and interface units.
• Read blueprints and electrical diagrams to plan layouts for installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain motors, switches, panels, transformers, and lighting.
• Troubleshoot encoders, transducers and vision systems to ensure production efficiency.
• Identify process improvements to optimize performance and production.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
