Qualifications

• 1 year of recent related work history with verifiable references.
• Licensed in Oregon to perform electrical work.
• Understanding of industrial electrical safety, MCCs, three-phase power, running conduit, lighting, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs.
• Read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing facility.
• Maintain components to control machinery, including switches, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and interfaces.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications to determine layout of industrial installations.
• Inspect motors, switches, panels, breakers, transformers, and lighting.
• Troubleshoot encoders, sensors, and other advanced devices.
• Identify improvements to optimize performance and production.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Overtime may be required during busy production times.
