Job summary

Worley is seeking an electrical conduit installer in Baytown, TX to read blueprints and determine scope, then install conduit and distribution components with a crew on site.

You will verify safety, test circuits, and ensure equipment compatibility, while following established procedures and standards. Four years of industrial experience and NCEER certification are preferred. This role focuses on delivering reliable, safe electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• NCEER Certified (written or performance verified).
• Ability to fabricate and install rigid & aluminum conduit (EMT, PVC).
• Ability to use mechanical and hydraulic conduit benders (2”–4”).
• Ability to wire and cable installation by hand, by machine, and in cable trays.

Responsibilities

• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using tools such as hacksaw, pipe threader, rules and conduit benders.
• Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit-breaker panels, securely with crews or bolts using hand or power tools.
• Test continuity of circuits using instruments like ohmmeter, battery and buzzer and oscilloscope.
• Observes functioning of installed equipment to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
• Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems.
