Job summary

Sew-Eurodrive Colombia Ltda is hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Lyman, SC. The role supports Buildings & Grounds systems, with a first shift and pay ranging from $27.00 to $32.00 per hour.

Shift premium applies for other shifts, and compensation will reflect experience and certifications. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, machinery installation, parts coordination, and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Must read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and electronic prints.
• Knowledge of basic industrial maintenance, able to repair and install plumbing fixtures and lines.
• Ability to assist in rigging, setting and installing heavy machinery.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity, power distribution and industrial electrical installations.
• Able to install cabling and conduit.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control circuits.
• Basic understanding of IT networks and terminate network cables.
• Basic welding and fabrication knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on all buildings and grounds and infrastructure.
• Assist with installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Read prints, identify needed parts/service, check availability, obtain quotes, and work with purchasing to order parts & service.
• Accurately complete maintenance logs, work orders, weekly maintenance worksheets, and other paperwork requested by the Company.
• Must be able to work with outside Contractors.
• Must work closely with the IT department.
• Must ensure all work is performed to code.

About the Role

Basic Purpose: Provide service and support needed to keep all Buildings & Grounds systems up and running

Shift: 1st

Pay: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour

Co_mpensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Candidates with additional relevant degrees or certifications and extensive experience may be considered for the higher end of the salary range_

TOP SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Must be able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and electronic prints.

• Must have knowledge of basic industrial maintenance and the ability to repair and install all types of plumbing fixtures, lines, connections, etc.

• Must be able to assist in rigging, setting and installing heavy machinery

• Must have advanced knowledge of electricity, power distribution, and all aspects of industrial electrical installations.

• Must be capable of installing cabling and conduit.

• Must have experience working with and troubleshooting electrical control circuits

• Must have basic understanding of IT networks and ability to terminate network cables

• Basic experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.

TOP ACTUAL TASKS:

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
