Job summary

New-Indy Containerboard LLC in Hartford City, Indiana is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot plant power systems, instrumentation and PLCs. You will read schematics, use meters, megger testers, power analyzers, and other equipment to keep operations safe and productive.

You will perform predictive and preventive maintenance, work with engineers to install or modify equipment, and coach teammates on safety and cross-functional skills in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

Read schematics and use test equipment to maintain plant electrical systems.
Perform predictive and preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with engineers to install or modify equipment.
Ensure safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and teammates on progress.
Mentor others to develop cross-functional maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

Install, remove, rig, align, or change out electrical distribution panels, transformers, motors, starters, breakers.
Develop cross-functional maintenance skills and competency.
Assist in process troubleshooting with manufacturing teams.
Maintain and develop team relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
