Job summary

Stryten Energy in Columbus, IN is seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician for first shift (7am–3pm). The role requires industrial electrical knowledge and strong mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and repair in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, and wiring for power distribution, PLCs, VFDs, and control systems, with flexibility for shift changes and hazardous material handling training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pass electromechanical maintenance test.
• AA in mechanical/industrial maintenance is a plus.
• PLC experience (Siemens/Allen-Bradley) a plus.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Complies with NFPA and OSHA regulations and demonstrates mechanical ability.
• Troubleshoots electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machines.
• Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and adjusts.
• Performs preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Runs conduit and wires for power distribution and controls integration.
• Troubleshoots PLCs, VFDs, motor starters and I/O across 5VDC–480VAC.
