Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions (IPS), a Sundt Company, is seeking Electrician 2 professionals for large-scale industrial and data center electrical construction projects.

You will install conduits, cable trays, wiring, and equipment, read blueprints and specs, and ensure work meets NEC standards while working with Foremen, Superintendents, and Journeymen. This role emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of industrial, commercial, or data center electrical construction experience.
• 4,000–6,000 documented electrical field hours preferred.
• Ability to install conduit, cable tray, wire, and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Experience bending conduit with hand and mechanical benders.
• Experience with underground electrical installations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety commitment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with project team.
• Perform high-quality electrical work safely and efficiently.
• Install conduit, cable tray, grounding systems, supports, and equipment.
• Pull wire, terminations, and assist with equipment installation and startup.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications.
• Install electrical systems per NEC, specs, and standards.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Identify safety hazards and quality concerns.
• Improve productivity by eliminating waste.
• Mentor apprentices and expand trade knowledge.
