Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced industrial electrician to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring, conduits, and control systems on critical infrastructure projects.

You will work with hand and power tools, interpret plans, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards. The role requires at least 4 years of field experience, a valid State Electrical License, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Must be at least 18 years of age and licensed for the jurisdiction.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment checks (background, drug screen, MVR).

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring and electrical systems per plans and codes.
• Use hand and power tools to install conduits, pull wire, and terminate wiring.
• Ensure safety protocols and zero injuries through active participation in safety programs.
• Read plans and diagrams and coordinate work with other crafts on site.
• Work on high and low voltage systems and perform startup and testing.
