Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking an Electrician to join our onsite team in Nashville, TN. You will build and wire custom automation systems for diverse industries, working hands-on with cutting-edge machinery on a project-by-project basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related vocational or technical education preferred.
• Minimum of one year of electrical experience required.
• Journeyman's card preferred.
• Ability to obtain Hi-Lo, Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane certifications while employed.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally as project requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications.
• Ensure changes, issues, and problems are documented and communicated.
• Perform assigned tasks with minimal direct supervision.
• Assist with the execution and maintenance of ISO and Quality Standards.
• Communicate with the project team regarding open issues and progress.
• Support the successful execution of projects related to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
• Troubleshoot wiring and electrical circuits per NEC standards and read electrical schematics.
