Job summary

A leading automation solutions provider in Virginia Beach seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician & Controls Field Technician. This hybrid role combines traditional electrical tasks with specialized control system responsibilities. Candidates must possess a valid Electrician's license or equivalent experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work in various conditions. Qualifications

• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Configure and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
• Calibrate and test control equipment and sensors.
• Monitor SCADA systems and collaborate with control engineers.

Skills

Electrical systems installation and maintenance

Troubleshooting complex electrical problems

Using testing devices (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
