Job summary

Consultants At Greystone Inc is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical & Controls Technician for our Toano, VA operation. This hands-on role requires troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and automation problems to improve equipment reliability and uptime.

Qualified candidates will have a Journeyman Electrician certification, 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, and proficiency with 480V systems. On-site with potential overtime and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting controls.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and motors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and control systems.
Work with 480V systems, MCCs, control panels, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servos, motors, sensors, and instrumentation.
Diagnose problems on equipment, install/modify/test control systems via schematics.
Maintain and optimize hammer mills, conveyors, and other machinery.
Document modifications and maintain records; identify and implement improvements.
Communicate with vendors and other departments; follow safety requirements.
