Job summary

APTIM in Findlay, OH is seeking an industrial electrician to perform a wide range of electrical tasks including building control and motor control panels, mounting panels to skids, wiring, conduit work, and termination testing. The role requires 2+ years of field experience, the ability to read blueprints, and adherence to safety and project rules.

You will work with hand and power tools, handle 480V/120V/24V control systems, and participate in testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an industrial electrician.
• Familiar with NEC and NFPA 70E codes.
• Able to read and interpret instructions and documents.
• Able to pass employer performance tests or standard tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sketches showing wiring location or follows diagrams to install wiring.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Pulls wiring through conduit with assistance.
• Splices wires per requirements.
• Connect wiring to equipment using hand tools.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and panels.
• Test continuity of circuits using testing instruments.
• Observe and adjust installations for safety and functionality.
• Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment.
