Job summary

Amtech Drives is seeking a skilled electrical panel builder to construct complex control panels from start to finish. You will handle systems spanning 120VAC to 575VAC, 24VDC and 4-20mA, and perform thorough testing and inspection to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience reading blueprints, and strong eyesight with color vision. The role requires both independent and team-oriented work, with warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, and inventory

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Level experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret Electrical blueprints/Drawings.
Must be able to handle up to 50 pounds daily.
Occasionally perform duties while standing, kneeling or squatting.
Good eyesight and color vision is necessary.

Responsibilities

Build complex electrical control panels from start to finish.
Work with systems from 120VAC to 575VAC, 24VDC, and 4-20mA.
Test and inspect panels, perform point-to-point, hi-pot and troubleshooting.
Review electrical packages with Engineering and Production Managers to ensure correct materials are ordered.
Follow written and verbal instructions to meet customer specifications and time constraints.
Work independently or with a team on large, complex systems to meet customer requirements.
Warehouse management: shipping and receiving, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, organized space.
