Job summary
TriMas Company LLC in El Cajon, CA is seeking an Industrial Electrician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power and control systems across multiple manufacturing departments. You will resolve routine to complex electrical failures and support preventive maintenance under the supervision of Maintenance leads.
Candidates should have 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, knowledge of 480V systems, and strong ability to read schematics.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain 480 V three-phase power and control systems.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to document activities clearly and work with limited supervision.
- English reading/writing required.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical distribution and motor controls in an industrial setting.
- Support CNC machines, forming presses, welding equipment, and related systems.
- Diagnose electrical and control faults using schematics and test instruments.
- Respond to work orders, isolate faults, and perform safe, authorized repairs.
- Maintain CMMS data and support preventive maintenance.
