Job summary

TriMas Company LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment across sheet metal, welding, forming, and machining operations. This on-site role supports 5S standards and uses CMMS to track work orders.

The candidate will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist when needed with major repairs under leadership guidance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with CNC equipment and production support is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, adjust, and maintain CNC machining centers and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures using manuals, schematics, and instruments.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and document activities in the CMMS.
• Respond to work orders and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
• Enter labor, failure, repair, and parts data in CMMS and escalate major issues when needed.
• Coordinate with production, quality, engineering, EHS, and vendors to minimize downtime.
