Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of experience, or the equivalent, before performing intermediate tasks on electrical and electronic machinery and equipment
• Proficiency in electrical theory and its application to plant operations
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams
• Ability to pass a 2-hour Ramsay skills test
• Good comprehension of oral instructions and work orders to determine tasks and needs

Responsibilities

• Build, install, repair electrical and electronic circuits for machine tools and plant equipment
• Locate defects using instruments and diagnose malfunctions
• Test faulty equipment and calibrate testing instruments
• Troubleshoot relay logic and CNC/PLC controlled machines
• Support electrical aspects of new equipment installation
• Maintain safety and quality while working near high-voltage systems
