Job summary

Mmsteam is seeking an Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician in Pekin, IL. The role is 100% on-site with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, and offers $35-$45/hr plus overtime.

You will work hands-on with CNC machines, PLC systems, and industrial electrical equipment to keep production running smoothly. The position requires 3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience, strong ability to troubleshoot 480V systems, and proficiency reading schematics.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V systems.
Experience reading schematics and prints.
Experience working in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase).
Diagnose and fix PLC issues (Allen-Bradley primarily).
Work on CNC machines and machine tool systems.
Repair motors, VFDs, control panels, and components.
Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
Support equipment installs, upgrades, and improvements.
Respond to breakdowns and get machines back online quickly.
