Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform safety preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical maintenance issues in industrial equipment using proper instruments for voltages and currents.
• Obtain drawings, manuals and create sketches to clarify work orders.
• Run tests on equipment, isolate problems, replace wiring sections and lay conduit.
• Pass a technical skills assessment on industrial electrical troubleshooting, controls, PLC diagnostics, motor controls, VFDs and automation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• The Maintenance Electrician performs safety preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration
• You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical maintenance issues in industrial equipment and processes proper instruments appropriate to the voltages and currents encountered
• Maintenance Electricians obtain one-lines, drawings, instructional manuals, special procedures, and create additional sketched and diagrams to clarify the intent of the work order
• This role also runs tests on equipment, isolates problems, replaces faulty sections of wiring and lays conduit
• As part of the selection process, candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating industrial electrical troubleshooting, controls systems, instrumentation, PLC diagnostics, motor controls, VFDs, automation technologies, and advanced maintenance practices. Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements.
