Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform safety preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems in an industrial setting. You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, interpret lines, drawings and manuals, and implement solutions to keep equipment running.

The role requires passing a technical skills assessment and lifting up to 50 pounds, with education to a high school diploma and electrical certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Electrician performs safety preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical maintenance issues in industrial equipment and processes.
• Obtain drawings, manuals, and procedures to clarify work orders.
• Run tests on equipment, isolate problems, replace wiring sections and lay conduit.
• Pass a technical skills assessment evaluating electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, motor controls and automation practices.

Position Responsibilities:

• The Maintenance Electrician performs safety preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration
• You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical maintenance issues in industrial equipment and processes proper instruments appropriate to the voltages and currents encountered
• Maintenance Electricians obtain one-lines, drawings, instructional manuals, special procedures, and create additional sketched and diagrams to clarify the intent of the work order
• This role also runs tests on equipment, isolates problems, replaces faulty sections of wiring and lays conduit
• As part of the selection process, candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating industrial electrical troubleshooting, controls systems, instrumentation, PLC diagnostics, motor controls, VFDs, automation technologies, and advanced maintenance practices. Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements.
• Other duties as assigned
