Job summary
CKS Packaging, Inc is seeking an Electrical Technician/Engineer in Haw River, NC to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and automation equipment. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Industrial Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
- Familiarity with low to high voltage systems.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation and repairs.
- Strong communication skills to work with team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and automation equipment.
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, VFDs, and instrumentation systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national codes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.
- Assist with the design and installation of new electrical and automation systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
