Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc in Haw River, NC, is seeking an Industrial Electrician/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle commercial and industrial electrical systems, reading schematics, and integrating automation equipment.

You will work in a manufacturing setting, troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineering and production to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial or Industrial Electrician.
• Familiarity with NEC and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of low to high voltage systems.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and automation equipment.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, VFDs, and instrumentation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national codes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.
• Assist with the design and installation of new electrical and automation systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.

Requirements
