Job summary

Lear Corporation in Florida is seeking an Industrial Electrician to repair, install and maintain electrical and mechanical components on plant machinery and utilities. The role requires safe troubleshooting on 480 VAC three-phase systems and reading schematics.

You will work under the Maintenance Manager, perform preventive maintenance, and support downtime reduction with strong safety discipline. Onsite work with potential overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Completion of a technical school program or apprenticeship in electrical work.
• State or local license (preferred).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with 480 VAC three-phase power distribution and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of safety through proper maintenance practices.
• Safely troubleshoot, test, and repair industrial electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
• Read electrical schematics and verify voltages on energized circuits.
• Install and maintain equipment including motors, VFDs, and panels.
• Document work orders and maintain maintenance records.
