Job summary

AWS/CES is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for an automotive manufacturing client in Warren, MI. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of plant equipment to support production.<\/p>

You will work on electrical systems, read schematics, and participate in preventive maintenance while adhering to safety standards. This full-time position offers on-site work and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to pass an electrician aptitude test.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and electrical systems with minimal supervision
• Perform electrical wiring, installations, and upgrades based on schematics and documentation
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Diagnose issues using electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and diagnostic tools
• Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic system troubleshooting
• Install and run conduit, wire-ways, panels, and power drops
• Build, label, and wire control panels and electrical boxes
• Update drawings/prints and recommend spare parts or system improvements
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to support production needs
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations
