Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Industrial Electrician to install, maintain and repair robust electrical systems in our manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, read blueprints, and ensure safety compliance.

The role offers 2nd or 3rd shift per union agreement, overtime/weekend flexibility, and competitive hourly wages starting with base wage $43.56/hr plus COLA $4.75/hr, plus 2nd shift $0.47/hr and 3rd shift $0.78/hr. Vacation after six months of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Journeyman's card preferred.
• Journeyman's card OR 4 years maintenance experience with assessment score.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and troubleshooting.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• 2nd or 3rd shift as per collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to optimize equipment performance.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
