Job summary
HARIBO of America in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - Production for 2nd/3rd shifts. The role covers maintaining and repairing production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with Electrical and Automation Technicians to optimize processes.
The candidate should have 3+ years of industrial mechanical repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work off-shift including weekends. AAS in robotics or related tech is a plus.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial mechanical repair experience.
- Minimum 1 year of trades training in industrial maintenance or related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Monitor packaging equipment, adjust and repair for optimal performance.
- Inspect equipment for hazards, defects, and compliance.
- Diagnose malfunctioning machines using test equipment and hand tools.
- Clean, lubricate, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Disassemble/reassemble machinery per manufacturers' procedures.
- Repair and fabricate components using shop tools and welding techniques.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
