Job summary

RR Donnelley in Durham, NC is seeking seasoned Electricians for a 2-2-3 shift (6:45am–7:00pm or 6:45pm–7:00am) to install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical lines and equipment at our Durham facility.

Ideal candidates will handle circuitry, wiring, strain gauge circuits, and recording instruments within complex test setups. Must be proficient with hand and power tools and general electrical components.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated circuitry and controls.
• Ability to lay out electrical circuits, wire test setups, install strain gauge circuits and recording instruments as needed by the test program to measure performance of test articles.
• Safety interlocks and complex interlock systems control critical limits.
• Ability to recognize and respond quickly to danger signs through warning systems to avoid damage.
• Skill in using hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronics components such as resistors, capacitors and transistors.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
